Ministry in a time of Covid-19

While we are in the midst of so much uncertainty, change and distance, we at St. Edward the Confessor are VERY committed to continuing on! Now more than ever, we need to reach out to God and trust in Him.

Insight Youth Group

We’re missing having you all at Insight Youth Group so much!  But just because we can’t gather doesn’t mean we can’t grow closer to Christ. So we have an optional “At-Home” Insight Youth Group you can complete.  It’s called “No Screens Allowed.”    Please note-  If you completely this Insight, you need to follow the instructions at the end so we can give you credit.  Thanks!

Confirmation Class

  • We have this “At-Home” Confirmation Class we have attached called, “Life in the Midst of Uncertainty.”   Once again, please carefully read the closing instructions on the last page of the file so we can give you credit for completing it.

Creative Saint Project

If you’re a Year 1 teen, don’t panic!  Saint projects are not due until next year!  But now if you have some unexpected time on your hands, creativity and cabin fever, you can get this requirement done now!  Attached are directions explaining our BRAND NEW OPTION for the Saints Name Requirement, “The Creative Saint Project.”    Please note-  You don’t have to do this now and you don’t have to do it in this format; the tradition saint paper option is still available.  We just want to give you a chance to create something and do something new if that suits you best.  Please follow those directions in the document carefully about proposing and submitting.

Finally, we are here for you! And so is the Lord!

We aren’t stopping; we have more resources coming to you. While we don’t have all the answers, we trust in God above all! Feel free to email Laura at if you have any questions or needs!

When he left Rwanda at that time he made a promise to his Bishop that he would return to bring healing to his people. He spent 3 months in Belgium during the genocide at which time he said that he cried every day. After a trip to Lourdes where he heard Jesus tell him “Ubald, carry your cross,” he felt a release from the burden of his sorrows and knew he was called to preach healing, forgiveness and reconciliation. Fr. Ubald has a beautiful healing gift and his focus is on healing and evangelization wherever he goes.
